The Yorkville CA1 is a Coliseum Series installation amplifier offering six input channels, four output zones, and straightforward controls for versatility and ease of use in restaurants and retail environments as well as houses of worship, offices, and conference rooms. With 180W of output power, it can drive a 4-ohm speaker load or four 70V speaker systems while a dedicated preamp out can feed a subwoofer or an audio recorder.
Its wide range of inputs include a front-panel 1/4" mic input with voice priority, three XLR-1/4" combo mic/line inputs with selectable 24V phantom power for podium/lavalier condenser microphones, two stereo RCA inputs with 4-stage sensitivity selection, and a dedicated 600-ohm telephone input. In addition to having screw terminals to accommodate hookup of constant-impedance or constant-voltage speakers, the CA1 provides a 1W / 8-ohm auxiliary loudspeaker output and a front-panel 1/4" monitor output.
Thanks to individual channel volume knobs, a large master volume control, and 2-band EQ, the CA1 allows efficient mixing without having to enter menus or even leave the front panel. Per-zone and all-zone speaker selection switches enable simple management of all output zones. The CA1's sturdy steel chassis can be mounted in 3 RU of rack space in a standard 19" equipment rack.
