MOBOTIX I25 Overview

The white MX-I25-N016 Hemispheric Network Camera from Mobotix features 6MP Moonlight Technology and a 1.6mm lens. Hemispheric distortion correction takes place in the camera and not later on the computer. This reduces image data before it is transferred and saved to lower the volume of network traffic and allow additional hemispheric cameras to be displayed on a computer or smartphone. MX-I25-N016 can be wall mounted with a tilt angle of 15°. This allows the camera to achieve a panoramic overview of a room. If mounted above a door the i25 looks partially underneath or into the doorway. For mounting the camera on concrete ceilings, a surface mount kit­ is available separately. This camera operates with built-in firmware to allow remote access from Windows and Mac computers via a web browser, or the free MOBOTIX app for iOS.

360° Hemispheric Technology
Thanks to fisheye technology with integrated distortion correction, MX-C25-D016 is able to deliver an all round view. Detailed 180° panoramas from wall-to-wall and from floor to ceiling eliminate blind spots. Unlike with other systems, hemispheric distortion correction takes place in the camera, not later on the computer. This drastically reduces the image data being transferred and saved, which in turn lowers the volume of network traffic and allows multiple hemispheric cameras to be displayed on a computer or smartphone.
MxLEO Technology
MxLEO is an integral part of the free 4.1.9 firmware update and offers four significant advantages, like reduced motion blurring, reduced image noise, application-oriented exposure setting, and optimized MxActivitySensor recording results.
MxActivitySensor Function
The MxActivitySensor is an activity-controlled, software-based image analysis function for detecting movement of people and objects in a monitored area (full image or section). The MxActivitySensor is designed to be easy to configure and deliver reliable results, even in applications with large amounts of external interference. For example, the camera can distinguish between the movement of vehicles, people, or objects that trigger an alarm and movements that are not relevant for alarms, such as shadows, changes in illumination, trees swaying in the wind, or rain falling directly at the lens.
MxAnalytics Technology
MxAnalytics makes it possible to collect statistical behavior data on people and objects. This is done by defining recognition zones (full live feed or a partial area) and counting corridors. The camera then records how often each counting corridor is crossed within a specified period. The most frequented areas in the recognition zone are highlighted in color as a heat map. MxAnalytics can be activated and deactivated manually, based on a signal, or following a time table. The results are saved in the camera every 15 minutes and can be exported manually or at specified times (report profiles).
