MSR Whisperlite Universal Hybrid-Fuel Stove

Enjoy the flexibility of being able to use both self-sealing canister or liquid fuels with the Whisperlite Universal Hybrid-Fuel Stove from MSR. This stove uses AirControl technology to permit you to easily swap between fuel types. Just change the adapter at the end of the fuel line to switch from liquid fuel to canisters, and change the jet to correspond to the desired fuel type. There are jets for IsoPro and other canned mixes, as well as for white gas, kerosene, and unleaded gasoline. Flip the canister over using the included bracket to permit use at lower temperatures than previously possible, and to get all of the fuel you can out of each canister. The self-cleaning Shaker Jet uses a pin to keep the orifice clear, and is actuated by simply shaking the assembly. The legs are constructed of stamped stainless steel and accommodate a large range of pot sizes. Burn times and boil times vary based on fuel type; 155 minutes of operation is possible using 20 ounces of kerosene, and a boil time of 3.5 minutes can be achieved with white gas. Ignition is manual, and can be accomplished using a match or striker. A fuel pump, windscreen, and heat reflector are included, as well as a small parts kit for minor repairs. A stuff sack keeps everything together for travel for or storage. *Fuel is sold separately.
