Photoflex LitePanel Frames are designed with the demanding professional photographer in mind and are unlike any other panels on the market. This is a 39 x 72" aluminum frame only, which will hold in place an assortment of Photoflex panels, available separately.

This frame is available as a part of different kits.

Shock-cord runs inside the tubing -- provides fast set-up and tear down.
Aluminum - will not warp and will stand up to abuse.
Square-tube design resists twisting of the frame and gives you a more secure surface for clamps and other holders.
Rounded corners ease adjustment of the frames when two or more are attached together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versitile and Durable I have three of these, as well as one of the 77x77 variety. They are light yet strong, and they fold down for easy transport. (I use velcro wraps to keep them from unfolding.) On a recent shoot for a group portrait, I mounted one horizontally to a light stand, and, using the translucent fabric, I shot the flash through it for a nice soft light. I then used another with the opaque white material as a reflector. The only detractor I can think of is that they can be a little unwieldy during assembly/disassembly. But, with a little practice, that's not much of an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Reflector * Sturdy * Easy to use This is the second 39x72 Aluminum Frame Panel Reflector that I've purchased. The first is still going strong, I just needed another. I love these panel reflectors. The frame is sturdy and does not flex, bend or change shape. The elastic cord running through the frame joints makes setting it up a snap. And it breaks down and folds for storage just as easily. The interchangeable reflector fabrics are great quality, fit snugly and stay in place. In my opinion, this size panel reflector needs a cross-bar, which is not part of the standard offering. I purchased the optional cross-bar with both my panels and I recommend it unless you plan to use this in the most gentle way. Also, I purchased the optional Panel Leg sets to stand the panels upright. I use weight bags on the legs for stability. I like the legs but they don't set up as easily as the panel frames do, as they have to be tightened with thumb-screws. These are great for full length reflector needs or even a quick, even backdrop (if it doesn't need to be very wide... e.g. just a head-shot). Happy shooting...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save time and money... get aluminum! I owned the PVC version of this frame and was using it with a silk to diffuse harsh sunlight when suddenly a gust of wind blew in and folded the plastic frame in half! The force of the wind cracked the PVC and the tubes were badly split. This would not have happened with the aluminum frame. Buy aluminum frames for outdoor use and save the PVC for use indoors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny to upgrade to Aluminum Love the frame - sturdy, light, very easy to assemble. I highly recommend opting for the additional cross bar. As compared to the PVC LitePanel frame, the aluminum is worth every penny. I do a lot of outdoor sessions, expecially during the hot Virginia summers. The PVC tends to bend and become flexible. Aluminum is well worth the upgrade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Setup a bit tricky, Stable (and light) once assembled. Good quality. I worry a bit about the shock cord fraying on the edges of the tubes, longer term, but I've only had them a week and they seem fine so far. A bit unwieldy to put together and take down, but very light and work quite well once assembled. Used with diffusion to shoot some large murals, did a good job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome reflector kit I use the reflector mainly for outdoor model shoots. It's easy and quick to assemble. It's very well built and sturdy. It is a large suface, so use commom sense if it is windy instead of blaming the product. The stand works great for positioning the reflector for indoor or on very calm days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Photoflex Lite Panel Components - Frame Rather than by a kit which included stands I don't need, I purchased 2 complete setups, buying each piece separately. Now I have 2 39X72 inch panels which I can use as either reflectors or scrims. The aluminum frames are durable but strong and each frame sets up in minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solid piece of equipment I've used these a few times with other photographers before purchasing a set of my own. the aluminum is the way to go, easy to pack down and sturdy, getting the hang of the bounce without the crossbar can be a bit tough but once you have it you have it.
