The phone supports up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 50 hours of standby time on a single charge and can be used as a cordless phone or 2-way communication device. With intercom mode you can chat directly with another DuraFon while background chatter is eliminated from the conversation. Broadcast mode allows for important messages or emergency bulletins to be delivered to one handset or to a group of handsets simultaneously. When the battery begins to drain hot swappable charging allows for the battery to be charged while the call is on hold.
