Rated 5 out of 5 by from A terrific performer I own two Zeiss monoculars but this is the one I use all the time. I am dumbfounded that this little product has such a bright image. I keep it tucked in my shirt pocket and it has that handy clip. The monocular is perfect - well-made, attractive, compact and worth every penny. It is one of my prized possessions and I use it at plays, animal and bird watching, to read signs and for people-watching. Focusing is easy and precise. The image is completely clear with no distortion at the edge. This is a great product and not much larger than a pen.I cannot find anything wrong with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice little guy For how small it is. The light it brings in is pretty impressive. Outside with good light conditions, it was what I was hoping for. Super clear great contrast and sharpness. I grip it with my middle, ring and pinky finger and put my thumb on my cheek and pointer finger on my forehead and can hold it very steady, little to no shake. It is so light it feels like a toy. The focus ring fells quite stiff and creaks at end of focus range. Overall I am happy with my purchase. B&H by far had the best price I could find with super fast shipping. I give it 4 1/2 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A pen sized scope ! I love the stunning clarity of this monocular - even in low light. I keep it handy because it is so light and fast - it stays focused at my chosen range and whenever wildlife presents itself I can almost instantly be lensing. In situations where carrying binoculars makes people look at you like you're some crazy nerd - the MiniQuick fits into a shirt pocket and most folks don't notice you carrying or using it. At my workplace we are surrounded by numerous species of birds that come and go very quickly - I can often lens them discreetly with no one the wiser using the MiniQuick. I enjoy this product so much that if something were to happen to it I would immediately order another - it's worth every penny of the asking price !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Pocket Size with great resolution To start, you can't go wrong with Zeiss lenses. This monocular is about the size of a fountain pen, which makes it extremely handy to keep in your pocket and pull out at a moments notice. Due to the small size, most people, including myself, will still need to use two hands to keep it steady. Won't replace full range binoculars, but a great add to your collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful monocular for the urban hikes. I got this monocular for travel and general usage were binocular are to heavy to carry or may not socially cumbersome (city streets, museums etc..). I use this little high quality optic gem in my urban and regular type hiking and travels. The one things that I would like to see Zeiss include at this price point would be a small soft case. I'm current using a pointer/presentation soft case that zips. It works but it not fitted and has adds some extra bulk that I could do without. It would be nice to see a pen-type of case that would protect the back and front glass from the everyday dirt and grim. Yes the price is hard to get over, but the optics are top notch and they are the best I have tested. I still don't know how Zeiss were able to get so much light and sharpness in a little pen size package. Well done! Also, one item that is not mention on the site is the ability turn the Monocular around and use it as a magnifier. I found this useful on a trip and had to pull a splinter out of my hand. The only thing to worry about if you are on the fence. Is once you use any of the Zeiss optics, you are not able to go back to standard optics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monocular, high quality Zeiss I am an avid monocular user. This has the optical quality I expect from Zeiss. I was wary of the lower power and small aperture. However I find it very useful. It's bright enough and comparable in light collection to the 8x20 I've carried. I carry this everywhere. I am especially impressed at the eye relief. It's designed with more eye relief than the older models and I can use it with eyeglasses. The focus is a bit stiff so I have to focus two handed. That may become easier with age. Also I'm concerned that if the clip breaks I can't replace it. Anyway I'm very happy with this and I carry it everywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive performer This is a great piece of optical gear. It's important to understand the limitations and benefits, then enjoy what you have here! I'm a long-time user of high quality binoculars, and you simply can't expect the same performance from a monocular, but that should be expected. Any monocular will be missing the third dimension in the image and will quickly lead to eye fatigue. This one is no exception to those rules. This monocular is extremely portable and can be stashed in a shirt pocket with lots of room to spare. It's very, very light weight. The optics are small, but just big enough to get the job done considering the limitations on weight and size relative to magnification. There is a well-designed balance here. The coatings on lenses have limited value for some, but are very important for me. I use this during a wide range of light conditions (day, night, dawn, dusk, indoors and out). These coatings give similar performance to the high quality binoculars I'm accustomed to. My briefcase has a separate compartment with small pouches for critical field tools, and this monocular has been given one of those. I would buy this monocular again based on the extreme portability and high quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impeccable service Small, handy monocular. Will carry and use more often than a larger one. In hindsight, would have gotten a small scope with greater magnification.
