Manfrotto 190Go! overview

  • 1Description

The 190Go! Aluminum Tripod Kit with Ball Head from Manfrotto is a compact support weighing 4.6 lb that extends up to 61.4" high and folds down to 21.6". Utilizing twist locks, the tripod can be quickly set up and broken down with a simple twist of the wrist.

The included Manfrotto 496RC2 Compact Ball Head is constructed of die-cast aluminum, strong enough to support SLR or DSLR cameras with a medium lens, and light medium format cameras. It has a single repositionable locking lever, ±90° tilt movement, plus a friction control for precise positioning. Cameras are attached to the ball head with the included 200PL-14 Plate with 1/4''-20 male threads. Additionally, the quick release has a safety system to prevent an accidental detaching from the head.

The center column on the 190go! can be positioned at a 90° angle, parallel to the ground, allowing the tripod to reach its lowest height of just 2.75". An Easy Link adapter attachment allows instant connection between tripod and accessories, such as LED lights for macro photography and DSLR video applications using Manfrotto articulated arms and brackets.

    Manfrotto 190Go! reviews

190Go! Aluminum Tripod Kit with Ball Head is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from its okay the delivery was very accurate the tripod was very solid when i first opened it up. tested the tripod in my living room. i purchased this item for a trip and figured i need something more robust to hold up my camera. when i took it out during my trip (this will be my first actual use), the plastic shim inside the leg (its a twist lock leg) got stuck and it broke inside the leg. i had to ended up giving up using the tripod and had to fix it back in the hotel. after spending this much money a tripod, the last thing you want is a plastic shim broken on your very first use. This is my first manfrotto tripod, and i have to say that i am very disappointed

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Flimsy For the price I was unpleasantly surprised at just how flimsy this tripod is. It is well engineered, however when I can rock a tripod back (plus camera) and forth with just my pinky finger something is definitely NOT right. (And yes it was on level surface with legs at the same length) I have a video of this however only single images can be uploaded. BH customer service was good as usual.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs I paint watercolors and like to photograph my finished piece. With the flip to a horn. Position it is perfect for shooting down on a piece of art. Also great for field work as it is light and stable. The quick disconnect ball swivel head is great. I also love the quick twist leg expansion segments which work smoothly and hold well

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New Favorite Tripod! I'd give it 4.5 stars but I can't. The reason it loses half a star is because you need a screwdriver to take the Ball Head off. I have yet to play with it long enough to figure if that's a big deal in the long run, but I figured for such a reputable brand, this would have been something they would not do. But who knows, maybe it solves a problem I'm unaware of? Another little thing, and maybe its found on another model, this is my first tripod with twist locking legs, its slower then the leaver style lock. Minor, but if your trying to run around it might slow you down a bit. Maybe there's a technique I have to figure out yet? And one last thing to mention, this tripod is great for photo work. Its been a pleasure using this set up to take pictures with! I'd still highly recommend this product! 4.5 stars!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "WOW" for the money It's hard to write a review for something that you haven't had for very long. So for the time being, let's say it's going to be able to do the things i'd like it to do. I haven't put it through it's paces yet!. The build quality is excellent for the price point that it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro Travel Tripod Nice and compact, easy to bring with you on the go, and sturdy enough to have confidence when mounting your gear. I use this with the photo-movie head also and just brings it to another level.
