I use mine for nanosims

When we travel, we almost always pull our US nanosim and use something we buy in-country for data access. Nanosims fit securely sideways in the microsim slots.
Handy, if a little over-priced

Very useful when the four of us went to UK recently and needed some way to switch out our regular SIMs at the airport and stash them safely while we were abroad. We didn't use the micro SD slots on this occasion, but I could see them being equally handy. A writable strip would be an added convenience, to identify which SIM was whose, but a Post-It strip did the job. Could also be useful if you have more than one number but don't have a dual SIM-capable phone. Somewhat over-priced for what it is, but certainly does what we wanted.
