Does the job

I wanted a less expensive alternative to the pricier products out there and this product does the job for me. The instructions that come with it are lacking in detail, but if you search Youtube you will find enough information in various videos of similar products that will allow you to figure it out. Haven't used it extensively yet, but my experience so far has been positive. Buy a Manfrotto quick release adapter plate so you can remove the camera and place it back without having to rebalance the Steadyvid each time you remove and reinstall the camera.
