Using an anamorphic attachment will often limit your taking lens's ability to focus close to the camera; however, the SLR Magic Achromatic Diopter +1.8 allows you to focus as close as 1.8' away from your camera when used in conjunction with one of the SLR Magic Anamorphot adapters. Incorporating a 77mm diameter filter thread allows you to mount it on a lens with a 77mm filter thread to achieve close focus.

How much will be close focus in centimeters, if i will use it with SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 1.33x ?
This will allow you to focus as close as 1.8 feet away, which comes out to around 55 centimeters.

If I already own the +0.33 and +1.33 diopters, would it be necessary to get the +1.8 diopter?
These diopters are threaded, you have the option of stacking the diopter you already own.

Can the SLR Magic Achromatic +1.8 Diopter be used on another manufacturers lens e.g. Sirui's new anamorphic 50mm lens to provide closer focusing?
The manufacturer makes this to work with his own lenses and doesn't test it on other lenses.

How close can you focus if you stack a second 1.8 ...
How close can you focus if you stack a second 1.8 Diopter? Do these Diopters attach before the Anamorphic Adapter or after it? Is it possible to use off-brand Diopters with the SLR Magic anamorphic adapter?
This product allows you to focus from 1.8' away, however we are not aware of it being able to work with a 2nd diopter.
