Grundorf Lockable Rack Drawer Overview

The 3 RU Grundorf 75-103 Lockable Rack Drawer offers a good solution for tidying up your workstation or safely storing your non-rack-mountable equipment. The fully enclosed drawer is constructed of 18-gauge metal with a durable matte black epoxy powder-coat finish, and fully extends on heavy-duty drawer glides.

The Grundorf 75-103 features a spring-loaded slam lock that allows the drawer to remain securely closed without using the key lock. If added security is required for some of your valuable items, lock the drawer using the two included keys.

Came in damaged, made from thin metal with plastic. Foam inside may wear quicker than expected. An OK unit to make your rack lighter in weight. Fits 4 wireless mics and 2 body packs maximum extra batteries.

Light and fits a shallow rack

I like that each cell is padded and separated by a firm metal divider. I keep Shure SLX2 wireless mics in the larger cells and a SM58 and various clips in the smaller one. There is a slight gap at the top of the drawer in the rear, maybe the thickness of a few sheets of paper, so if you were using this in a mobile rig and keep very small items like washers in the drawer they could fall out. Otherwise this is perfect for transporting microphones. The drawer I received came with a lock and key which weren't shown on the picture or listed in the description. The lock is very secure and can't be picked easily like some other drawers.
