The PUC2 from Yellowtec is a compact, two-channel, USB 2.0 bus-powered audio interface designed for both analog balanced lines andAES3 digital audio. With plug-and-play installation without the need for drivers, the PUC2 is ready to go in minutes. The unit is powered via two of the computer's USB ports using a USB Y-cable (included), freeing you from a bulky power supply or additional cable.
The interface operates at resolutions and sample rates up to 24-bit/192 kHz and delivers an impressive 105 dB of dynamic range. Connections include two XLR for AES3 in and out, four XLRs for balanced stereo line-level analog in and out, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-B port.
The unit features zero-latency monitoring which lets you monitor your recording signal in real-time, without any noticeable delay. The yellow-ringed 3.5mm jack is used to configure the zero-latency monitoring modes. The PUC2 is compatible with Mac OS 9 (and above), and Windows.
