The Manfrotto Compact Extreme 2-in-1 Monopod & Pole is the best monopod for your buck, hands down. As per most anything made by Manfrotto this is yet another quality, built to last product. It's quality for a reasonable price.

Very well constructed and lightweight. We are using this as an extension for our sound level meters.

This was originally an impulse buy for me. But I am so happy I got it. I have found multiple uses for it outside of a standard monopod. The reach is a good length. It is very lightweight. And being able to connect on either end was the best selling point for me.

Well made and versatile.

I used a phone mount to the -20 tripod screw to video the scar from my laminectomy (neck surgery) that all the health-care professionals told me looked "really good," and found it looks well healed. Technology is really great; the cell-phone camera's anti-shake canceled out my "essential tremors," and the iPhone compensated for the bathroom lighting as well. I doubt I'll ever need a selfie-stick again but I'll certainly make use of the change in perspective possibilities.

I bought this monopod for my GoPro camera. It works great and I have no problems with it at all. I also have a larger monopod from Manfrotto for my 300mm lens that I use for sports photography that I have used for about 10 years or so.
