The rangefinder houses an eye-safe semiconductor laser with a maximum ranging capability to 1.12 miles and accuracy of ±3.3'. Special settings include Rain mode, Reflective mode for foggy conditions, and >150M mode for ranging beyond 164 yards with objects like branches or electrical wires in the view.
The magnesium/aluminum alloy housing is O-ring sealed for waterproof and fogproof performance and rubber-armored for shock-resistance and a sure grip. The oversized, knurled center focusing wheel makes focusing easy, and twist-up eyecups allow comfortable use by users wearing eyeglasses.
