The meter features a 7" LCD touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 resolution and a 4x digital zoom. There is NTSC/PAL auto-selection for ensuring compatibility with all setups, and an advanced power control and protection circuit for power efficiency. A rechargeable battery allows you to use the meter for up to 16 hours at a time, and takes 8 hours to fully recharge. The meter can be used for controlling PTZ, running tests, reading and reviewing the results, and making the needed adjustments.
Offering port-flicker technology and video record, snapshot, and playback functions, the meter can be used to run all-encompassing tests to ensure cameras are completely and correctly installed. An integrated multi-meter measures capacitance, voltage, current, and resistance, and tests continuity and diode components. The meter can also trace cables by sending out audio signals, which assist in identifying a connected cable. Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to receive network imaging and data, and an audio input enables you to test the audio signal from pickup devices. Complete with the necessary cables and ports, the meter can test output power and RS485 connections. The meter also tests cables, scans IP addresses, and measures PoE voltage.
