question
Does this rig also fit the original a7s model?
Sorry, but products for Sony's A7S II/a7R II/a7 II are not compatible with the original A7S model. The a7s is 127 x 94 x 48 mm is and the others are 127 x 96 x 60 mm so the cage will not fit on that alone. Also the HDMI and microphone connectors are not in the same place, so the cage for the new a7S II will block access to the connectors of the original a7S model. We can suggest this answer, the SHAPE Sony a7S Kit plus the other items to fill out the kit. Please see below.

question
is it compatible with the a7riii
Sorry, no this will not work with the Sony a7R III. Shape is currently at work making a cage for that camera. Note: since cages are form-fitting, assume that if it does not mention the camera you are using in the name of the cage, it does not fit. If you must use a cage now and no one has a cage, get a universal type that is three sided and adjustable.

question
is it possible to mount the coplet rig on a tripod, with out changing the rig? thx H
Underneath the base plate adapter one can attach tripod quick release plate for quick tripod mounting. You would not need to remove components from the rig.

question
Is there difficulty seeing the camera's LCD screen when the rig is resting on your shoulder?
Hi Parker, thank you for your question. This solution is perfect to use with an external monitor. If you want to be aligned with the camera screen, you can add a off-set bracket with two sets of 15mm rods. We suggest a 10 and a 12 set to replace the actual 18 rods for a better confort. Best regards.

question
Is this compatible with the GH4?
This rig has been designed to perfectly fit Sony A7II series. The cage will not fit a Panasonic GH4. However, SHAPE has several rig solutions for your camera that can be found under the link below:http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=shape+gh4&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search=Here is what we suggest if you are searching for a similar bundle as the A7II. You can use a GH4 should mount with a Matte Box and a Follow Focus within a similar price range. This shoulder mount has been designed to be used with the YAGH interface unit (#PADMWYAGH). If you use your GH4 without it, you will also need a Delta Quick release to lift it up. In this solution, the front rods will have to be mounted lower than back rods.If you need more information or pictures of the final result, please don't hesitate to contact SHAPE TEAM at info@shapewlb.com.
