Zero-G ZERO044 Overview

This electronic download of Luminoso: Live Violin Phrases from Zero-G is a collection of violin samples performed by Martin and Kate Richardson, two world-class violinists from the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded in Liverpool's famous Parr Street studios. Layer up to six different bars in real time for the effective sound of a 12-piece string section, or if you wish, you can dial down the ensemble size to a solo violin.

Luminoso gives you a lot of control; you can record the same patterns across a wide pitch and dynamic range with many scale variations and choose patterns that blend in particularly well to a wide variety of musical styles. You can also automatically sync to the tempo of your projects with a wide variety of chord, rhythm and scale types, all controlled with key-switches.  Dynamic levels from pp to ff can be smoothly cross-faded by mod wheel, and two microphone positions – close and room – can be chosen or blended. Luminoso includes 7.0GB of 24-bit high-quality files.

  • Play at double or half project tempo
  • Spread the players from widely panned to a close central group
  • Round Robin Effect
These instruments have a 6x round-robin effect, created by randomizing the start point of the six-bar loops, which greatly helps realism by avoiding machine-gun effects
