This B&H Pro Workstation Kit builds several powerful technologies into a 2.4 GHz 8-Core minitower workstation, providing for a high-performance video editing workflow with the included Avid Media Composer.
Custom-assembled by B&H, this system adds a second 2.4 GHz 8-Core processor, three 8GB RAM modules to the existing 8GB, an HP Quadro M4000 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, DeckLink Studio 4K I/O card, 12TB RAID storage array with Thunderbolt 2, and Thunderbolt 2 I/O card. It also adds a 2.5"-to-3.5" converter bracket and 512GB 2.5" SSD into one of the SATA bays in the workstation, an external USB 3.0 card reader that supports up to 20 memory card types, and a LogicKeyboard specifically for Avid.
The workstation itself also features 1TB of internal storage, 8 DIMM memory slots, a DVD burner, Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) installed, and a license for Windows 8.1 Professional (64-bit). You can either use Windows 7 or uninstall it and register Windows 8.
