Yamaha A-U671 overview

  • 1Description

Enjoy high-resolution stereo sound with the Yamaha A-U671 Integrated Amplifier. It is equipped with a digital power amplifier that delivers up to 70W per channel at 6 Ohms. Front mounted bass, treble, and balance controls give you the ability to fine-tune your audio playback. Its stereo RCA input will accept nearly any analog audio source, while its USB input will accept process the signal from your computer through its integrated DAC. In addition to the aforementioned front-panel controls, a remote control is also included.

Natural PWM-Type Digital Power Amp for Pure, High-Resolution Sound
Built into this amplifier is a digital power amplifier that outputs up to 70 watts per channel. Its natural PWM-type digital modulation with a simple circuit configuration is designed to provide natural, uncolored sound quality with high efficiency. The low-pass filter of the latter part of the power amp is a large coil made of low-loss, low-distortion OFC (oxygen-free copper) wire material. This simultaneously maintains the purity of high-resolution sound sources, while enhancing the power of the bass and ensuring warmth in the mid and high-frequency sounds. This amplifier also features a Pure Direct switch that bypasses the tone/balance controls and a back buffer amp to enhance the purity of sound as well.
DSD 5.6 MHz and PCM 384 kHz Playback with USB DAC Functionality
Built into the unit is a USB DAC, which can reproduce high-resolution sound sources in their original quality. It is compatible with native playback of DSD 5.6 MHz (DSD128) or 384 kHz / 32-bit PCM, which records music information in detail by sampling up to 5,644,800 times per second. The D/A converter is the SABRE32 (ES9010K2M) from ESS Technology, and its USB device controller IC is from XMOS. This is designed to deliver pure reproduction and optimum sound quality by restricting shutter noise through asynchronous transference.
