IndiPRO Tools Compact 95Wh V-Mount Li-ion Battery

This Compact 95Wh V-Mount Li-ion Battery from IndiPRO Tools outputs 14.8V, has a capacity of 6.6Ah, and supports up to a 10A draw. Its features include a Samsung cell, a weight of slightly more than 1.5 pounds, and a standard D-Tap port for powering accessories via a separately available cable. For quick status checks, an integrated 4-bar LED gauge displays the battery's remaining power.

IndiPRO Tools V-Mount Plate with LP-E6 Dummy Battery (15mm Rod Bracket)

Add long-lasting V-mount battery support to compatible cameras with this dedicated V-Mount Plate from IndiPRO Tools. It connects to the camera using an LP-E6 dummy battery at the end of a 24" cable and attaches to your rig via a 15mm LWS rod bracket provided on the bottom. When mounted on rods on the back of your rig, it can also function as a counterweight. This plate also features a D-Tap output for powering a 12-16V accessory simultaneously with the camera.

Own four of these. Great for powering EVA1, Aladdin All-in-2, Hive 200 C (need two tho), PIX-E5H, Video Assist 12G HDR, Tilta Nucleus M etc. Super reliable. Also picked up a couple IndiPro Tools chargers as well.

Does the 15mm rod mounting area on the battery ...

Does the 15mm rod mounting area on the battery plate have an adjustable angle? For example, can it be turned horizontally instead of vertically?

I am trying to charge this battery, but I think I might be doing something wrong. I am plugging the unit into the wall and leaving the light off for several hours, but it is not taking a charge. I am not using a charger. I am using the actual wall plug in that came with the battery and the Aputure LS1 LED light. Can somebody advise me on how to charge this battery? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

This battery is meant to be charged through the D-Tap connection on the side of it with a wall plug type of charger. (The D-Tap has two copper colored holes) Does the wall plug you are using look like the one attached? You connect the battery to your electrical system with the wall plug power adapter. You mention leaving the light off for several hours, and I am not sure what light you mean. I can only think that you are in a home where wall outlets are controlled by wall switches and you are not only turning out lights but also the power to the wall plug as well.

Can i use any charger? I also have the Rotolight v-mount battery for Anova. I'm wondering if using the charger for that battery is okay on this Indipro 95wh v-mount batt.

Lithium-ion batteries need very careful charge monitoring to avoid the danger of overheating and fire/explosion. Ideally every lithium chemistry battery should only be charged using the chargers from the specific battery manufacturer as most have proprietary circuitry which may not be compatible with chargers from other makers.

There are two questions that state the battery does not come with a charger and one that says it does. The description says 'IndiPRO Tools D-Tap Pro Battery Charger (16.8V, 2.5A)" Can you confirm it indeed comes with a charger?

This is a V-Mount battery. It is designed to power products that accept a V-Mount battery. We are not quite sure what Solix is referring to, but if it works with V-Mount batteries this is a great option.

It all depends on the type of charger that you are using to charge the battery. For example if you were to use a 2.5A charger the battery would be fully charged in approximately 3 hours.

This battery does not come with a charger. In the future on our website, you can look for the In The Box listing of what comes with the item. The small affordable charger I am showing here will take about 8-10 hours for a full charge. The more expensive charger can do the job in about 2 1/2 hours.
