The Elvid FieldVision 7" 4K On-Camera HDMI IPS Monitor features a 1280 x 800 panel that will scale and display 4K images. The monitor's IPS panel provides 178° viewing without color or contrast shift when viewing the monitor off-angle. It supports video up to DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) often referred to as Cinema 4K, as well as UHD 4K (3840 x 2160), the more common variant. In addition to 4K at a variety of frame rates, the monitor also supports 1920 x 1080p, 1920 x 1080i, 720p, NTSC, and PAL signals. Signal input is via an HDMI port, but the monitor will accept A/V signals for SD video input.
The FieldVision monitor features 400 cd/m² brightness and 800:1 contrast ratio, which provides a clear and crisp image indoors, and is usable outdoors with the included sunshade. For focus assistance the monitor supports monochrome peaking as well as pixel-to-pixel zoom. Please note that pixel-to-pixel zoom only provides a center cut of your image and is not movable. For calibration purposes, the monitor supports blue only and monochrome mode; red only and green only are also available. The camera powers via an included L-Series type battery or via a coaxial power connection. The battery plate can be removed and swapped for other plates (not included).
Assignable Function Buttons
The monitor incorporates four assignable function buttons so you can quickly recall often-used functions. The default settings for the buttons from the factory are:
F1: Check Field cycles the monitor through blue, red, green, and monochrome-only display

F3: Center screen marker
F4: Toggles between safe area frame guides; settings are Off, 80%, 85%, 90%, 93%, 96%, and 2.35:1
HDMI Cable Lock
A removable cable lock enables you to secure an HDMI cable to the monitor, preventing the HDMI cable from accidentally becoming unplugged.

Front Panel Buttons allow you to select between the HDMI and A/V input signals, control the volume of the integrated speaker, and access and navigate the menu.
