Good for a laptop/notebook, not for a desktop.

I purchased it with the intention of plugging it into my desktop computer's front panel port and mounting it on the top of my case, but the cable is too short for this purpose... I'm sure it's great for a laptop or notebook!!

I like using the 3 USB ports on this adapter more than using my laptop’s, I think because I can never seem to remember where they are, and they are never where I want them to be. I also like that I can leave my USB peripherals and USB Memory keys attached to them when I leave the office. The USB-C port is great for OTG drives and certain adapters, like Memory card readers and Network adapters. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review
