Technical Pro MM2000BT Overview

Intended for settings such as concerts, school auditoriums, houses of worship and karaoke rooms, the Technical Pro MM2000 Pro Mic Mixing Amp With USB, SD Card, and Bluetooth Inputs combines a powered mixer and amplifier in one. For inputs, the unit features RCA jacks for two audio sources, an auxiliary 1/8" input, a USB/SD card input, and an integrated Bluetooth v2.0 receiver with EDR. For outputs, it includes banana binding posts (4 speakers), RCA line outputs, and tape monitor loop outputs.

Additionally, the unit includes six microphone inputs (2x balanced XLR and 4x unbalanced 1/4") with individual volume controls. The system's microphone echo controls include Volume, High, Low, Delay and Repeat, which help you dial in the right mix for the application.

The USB and SD card inputs can handle up to 32GB worth of media and can play .mp3, .wav, and .wma files. The MM2000 also records .wav files from the unit's tuner or RCA inputs onto flash drive or SD card. Controls for Bass, Mid, Treble, as well as Repeat/Random playback of the USB and SD card inputs allow you to fine-tune your experience, while a display for Track Title, Number, and Elapsed Time helps you stay organized as you navigate through tracks. Built-in dual equalizers help you shape the response of your sound, and the device's internal cooling fan helps keep the unit running at safe operating temperatures.

I have a older technical pro 2000 watt receiver and still working good and wanted to upgrade, this new unit is better then expected, and loaded with options including Bluetooth, if you are serious about sound like I am , this is the one to get, I also use it for karaoke and you could not ask for better, including the price and the excellent friendly service, I was amazed by the fast delivery, they are very professional, you can tell they have been in business for a long time . Thank You and keep up the good work Pierre

Took 6 days to get here to quebec Canada..tried it the same night with bluetooth and usb ( i have yorkville pulse 153 speakers)  wow sounded so good ..i got drunk...now i plug in my mike and guitar  gave it some fine tuning..wow sounded so good ..got drunk again...it performs like it should...might even get drunk again tonight.....i love it   hope it last..

must have for your home.

First the Bluetooth went mono, then no Bluetooth at all a month later, the display conked out, no display at all. It does not come with a remote and I knew that, but my remote was going to be my phone and now that is broke too.

This is not my first Technical pro amp ,my old one is still running strong ,but the MM2000 just blew me away, I have some good quality speakers & this unit is making them work , the Bluetooth is awesome, if you’re looking for all around quality, this is the one to purchase, I was very impress with the professional service from B&H ,good people to deal with and surprising fast delivery, looking forward to my next purchase.

how does the loop fuction in and output work?

The loop in and out is used to integrate an external signal processor such as an equalizer with the MM2000. The output of the external device is plugged into the loop in and the loop out is plugged into the input of the external device; thus creating a loop.

The MM2000 is not able to supply phantom power. The unit is designed to accommodate dynamic handheld mics only.

I had this amp tested and I found that it don't do 2000 watts?

2000 watts peak power is the specification provided by the manufacturer. This peak rating only indicates the unit can handle a short burst at this wattage. This is not the average or RMS output of the unit which is a more real world indication of the capabilities of this amp. These specs are not available from the manufacturer.

I am wondering if I could connect wireless Microphone to this amplifier? If so, is there any instructions on how to do that? Thank you!

The Technical Pro MM2000 does not have a receiver built into it for direct compatibility with a wireless mic transmitter. This means that you would need to use an external wireless mic system, where the receiver is connected to one or both of your mic inputs on the Technical Pro MM2000, like the VocoPro Digital-32 for example (BH #VODIGITAL32U).

No. I bought the MM3000, which has more features. I think you may be referring to an offer elsewhere for the smaller MM2000 that includes mics. The problem is the price is quite a bit higher than B&H, plus shipping, and the mics they throw in junk. B&H has the best overall price and great service!

The Technical Pro MM2000 is intended for use with installed sound systems and PAs, but not designed for use in automobile sound systems. Although you may be able to wire it to your car system, we would not recommend it for that purpose.
