question

How long does it take to charge the battery with the D-tap charger?
Asked by: Lisa
The included D-Tap charger will take 3-5 hours to fully charge the battery. If you are looking for a faster, yet still inexpensive solution, IndiPRO Tools also sells a Dual Battery V-Mount Charger which will work much faster.

question

how long will this battery last.
Asked by: Jacob
How long this battery will last completely depends on what you are using it with. It is rated for 95 Watt Hours. For a smaller camera with a low power draw like the Sony A7S, using a D-Tap adapter, you could get 20 hours or more. If you are using it on a bigger camera like the Blackmagic Design Ursa, using a VLock Battery Plate, you may get a little over an hour.

question

Can the plug that comes with this battery able to be plugged into the Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6k? If not can it be plugged into the battery while the battery is plugged into the camera?
Asked by: Steven C.
The plug that comes with this battery is for charging the battery itself, that is its only function. It cannot be used with the Ursa 4.6k. To power the Ursa Mini 4.6k using this battery you will also need a V-Lock Battery Plate.

question

I am trying to charge this battery, but I think I might be doing something wrong. I am plugging the unit into the wall and leaving the light off for several hours, but it is not taking a charge. I am not using a charger. I am using the actual wall plug in that came with the battery and the Aputure LS1 LED light. Can somebody advise me on how to charge this battery? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
Asked by: trey v.
This battery is meant to be charged through the D-Tap connection on the side of it with a wall plug type of charger. (The D-Tap has two copper colored holes) Does the wall plug you are using look like the one attached? You connect the battery to your electrical system with the wall plug power adapter. You mention leaving the light off for several hours, and I am not sure what light you mean. I can only think that you are in a home where wall outlets are controlled by wall switches and you are not only turning out lights but also the power to the wall plug as well.
