My computer has only USB 2.0 ports. Will this work with it and is the USB 2.0 wire included ?
Asked by: Angel
Per the item's description, "The G-Force Quad is compatible with Windows and Mac systems and connects to your system via a USB 3.0/2.0..." There is an included USB 3.0 cable with a Type-B connector on one end (that connects to the drive) and Type-A connector on the other end that connects to your computer's USB 2.0 Type-A port. Quick USB Primer: The number refers to the speed; the letter refers to the port shape/type. Type-A ports are the rectangular USB ports we have been using since 1998.
