    Axler RBNP-05R-V2 reviews

    Robin 05R V2 Stabilizer is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lightweight stabilizer, maybe too lightweight I have a osmo gimbal but I saw this and I thought it might work for my small Sony RX-100. It is tricky to stabilize because everything is so lightweight. There is just not enough mass inertia to really smooth things out. If you have a heavier camera, then the stabilizer can't handle it. I find I can do a better job attaching a monopod to my camera. Still, a gimbal is really the best way to go. The one stand out feature is the round base counterweight is stable enough to set it on flat surfaces without issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good for 20oz GH4 camera While my Panasonic GH4 was under the weight limit; it was not all stable. I would only recommend this stabilizer for a much smaller camera (e.g. Under 8 oz).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moderately ok at best Moderately ok at best. Adjustments are good. Be sure it's big enough for your needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Dagger on the Battlefield! If the Robin pro 40 is my Excalibur, the Robin 05R V2 is surely my dagger. With a medium sized Carabiner clip, it can be attached to your waist for an easy grab and Draw. Though it does't come with the attachment for mounting your phone, its a very affordable investment (under 20) and especially valuable if your phone is shooting in 4K. The mount is great for setting up on a desirable constant shot, and leaving in place while you venture. The other week I shot an event for an Adidas Fifa Tournament. I was there to film videography for the DJ. I left my Robin 05r-V2 in front of him so that I had a clear shot of him and the turntables, then I explored the venue with my Robin 40. With the use of the V2 I was able to cut back to shots of the DJ performing in the edits. When I got tired of carrying the 40 around (it can get heavy depending on the set up you have), I switched out the cameras and walked the venue with the V2. Its stabilizing capabilities are highly effective if used correctly. Having my phone mounted on it, I was able to weave through the venue lightweight-ed and give my arms a rest while still recording steady stable shots. I've had a great time with the product so far and look forward to an investment of a Go-Pro because the stabilizer is light and the addition of a light weight videocamera like a Go-Pro would make it the ultimate dagger on the battlefield of videography!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't work for regular camera No instructions included. Only holds up a camera up to a few ounces without tilting forward. Wanted to use it with a Nikon camera to shoot video don't think it will work for us. Would be great with a GoPro. Price was inexpensive, but apparently we needed something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it... Very hard to balance and it doesn't do much stabilizing. Very disappointed!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Working in certain way, but don't expect too much. Don't expect too much magic from this stabilizer! This stabilizer will only work for situations of "smooth and stable movement itself". I tried Canon eos m on it, it works in certain way.
