The DB9 Extenders give you the ability to extend your serial/VISCA cables over a longer distance, giving control of your camera via joystick or USB to Serial adapter to your PC with the VISCA software of your choice. These serial DB9 male to female cables are plenum rated and they come in black.

Would have got 5 stars but the cable being an extender cable you would think it would have a secure connection where it plugs in to add length to existing cable and it does not
The connector housing won't seat on the PTZOptics PT-JOY-G4 input jack, and subsequently can't be secured with the screws. The input jack on the joystick is recessed and the cover opening is too small for the cable connector housing. I had to use an interim cord to connect to the joystick controller.
