I have not tried it on a dive yet. The twist to turn off and on hopefully is robust and produces not leaks!
Barely visible under water

This seems nice enough right out of the box, but there's a problem. Even 6 feet away (in water), the laser dot is barely bright enough to stand out against a typical background. I feared this, but hoped that a laser sold for underwater use would be powerful enough to overcome the fact that red is the most-absorbed color in water. I wanted a blue or green pointer but couldn't find one. The image below is from Wikimedia commons, and is in the public domain. It shows how dramatically red light is absorbed in water.
