Works as advertised... Diffuser is easy to mangle a bit.

Works like it's supposed to... you stick the pins of the softbox into the frame, and then attach the diffuser, and you're good to go.� The diffuser itself is a little fragile, or easy to be blemished.� The material doesn't flex particularly well, so you can't really fold it for storage.� I had originally hoped to store this in the bag that the light came in, but it's just a bit too hard to cram it all in there.� I'm just leaving it all assembled and in a box to store it.

This softbox would generally be used for softening the light coming from a Dracast LED500 Plus LED panel. The light itself can work well to light a small room or a subject at a table, but it all depends on how you position the light.

The Dracast Softbox for LED 500 Pro / Studio / Plus Series (BH # DRSB500) is specifically for the Dracast LED 500 series lights. You can use some diffusion sheets, such as the Rosco #117 Filter - 1/2 Tough White Diffusion - 20x24" (BH # RO117S), attached to the front of the Neewer BH40B Bi-Color LED Light Esthetician Kit (BH # NE66604629) to soften the light. The Rosco diffusion can be cut to size with scissors.

Will this work on Dracast S-Series Plus Daylight LED500? The light has been discontinued, but I need a couple of soft boxes for the two that I have.

This is for the LED500 Pro it is not compatible with a S-Series light.
