Poor Quality

The build quality is poor, and this doesn't securely attach to the light. Horrible. This applies to all the accessories. Approximately ten of the grid holes were bent on when I opened the box

Nice light with this addition for my either key or fill. Fits the barn door slot well.

Do you need to have barn doors to attach this?

question

How is it that the light this fits has a 45 degree beam angle, and this has a 60 degree? All of the honeycombs I've ever used NARROWED the beam, they didn't expand it.
Asked by: Johnny B.
This is a good question, because the answer is counter-intuitive. Basically, if there were only ONE bulb, and that bulb had a 45 beam angle, then a 60 honeycomb grid would do absolutely nothing. However, with 1000 bulbs that EACH have a beam angle of 45, it actually creates a spread of light that is much wider than you would think. Which is why the 60 honeycomb actually DOES narrow the light output. // Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at [email protected].

question

Can the dracast filters still be used with the grid in place? Is there a filter slot built in to the grid panel?
Asked by: David
Yes, you can use the honeycomb grid and a diffusion or CTO filter at the same time. // Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at [email protected].
