Is this fully compatible with new MacBook Pro (with touch screen) and Dell 4K external monitor (Dell P2715Q)? Currently using high speed HDMI and MBP does not wake from sleep when connected to external monitor. End up having to reboot and basically unplugging external monitor. Any suggestions? Bought monitor at B&H and love it. Worked like a charm with mid 2010 MBP connected with display port.
I have the same set up and this cable works nicely. Both the MBP and the Dell wake up fine from sleep mode. The only time it acts funny is if I plug in the cable with the MBP's lid down and then open it and try to wake it. To correct that I unplug it, wake the MBP, and plug it back in. I've had no need to reboot the Dell with this cable.
