Perfectly functional; good compact size; good fit & finish. Just make sure that the USB-C port where you connect it isn't too close to where your mouse will sit. Also, upon first plug in, Windows downloaded & installed a driver. There wasn't any notification that this would happen, so there should have been an alert beforehand.

The j5create USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C to 4-Port Multi-Adapter Hub BH #J5CH471 has built in Ethernet and USB ports, you could connect it to a compatible computer and if you have a network drive and a USB drive connected, you could transfer data to the USB drive from the network drive.

question

I've a macbook pro 15 inches, mid 2015. How do I connect this to the macbook and use it as an adapter for multiple USB driven external hard drives?
Asked by: Anonymous
The j5create Multi-Adapter Hub requires USB-C, and would not be compatible with a 15MacBook Pro. At this time it would only be compatible with the 12 MacBook.

question

Will this product allow you to plug in multiple bus-powered USB 3.0 hard drives (such as the Seagate portable 5TB drives)?
Asked by: Scott
I seem to remember a drive not mounting recently until I used an external power adapter but that might have been because I was using a USB to eSATA cable
