The tightening knob uses an igus Polysorb thrust bearing that helps increase torque, and on the other side of the clamp is a grip joint with both 3/8" and 5/8" pass-through receptacles. By having these receptacles, the clamp can be mounted onto various standard grip equipment. Also, the clamp features a standard 3/8"-16 connection for the head and tightening knob, permitting it to be removed and have other accessories, such as a grip head, attached to create a more versatile support solution.
