I purchased this arm for its extra weight capacity (claimed), but I'm not sure if I can use it at all. The locking mechanism is very sensitive and very easy to accidentally unlock, even without touching the red lever. Also, the color is dark blue, which is not what it looks like in the pictures. I'm thinking about returning it.

This is truly a great arm, well made and sturdy. Very flexible and easy to use. I do have one issue with this product though; they should provide you with an 3/8"-16 to Male 1/4"-20 Thread Adapter. It would have been nice to use it right out the box. Had to wait to use because I had to order adapter. Over all great product.

Specs say the length of this thing is 4.75 inches?! That cannot be right. Perhaps each section is 4.75 inches? Can anyone confirm the actual dimensions of this thing?
The total length of the arm is 18.7 inches.
