Be selective with your focus with the Lensbaby Edge 50 which offers a normal angle of view with coverage for full-frame image sensors. It is compatible with the Optic Swap System and all Lensbaby lens bodies including the Composer Pro. This flat field optic differs from your standard lens by creating a slice of focus that is bordered by gradual blur created by tilting the Edge 50 Optic in the Composer Pro or Composer Pro II in conjunction with the 9-blade adjustable aperture for smooth out-of-focus areas. If used as a 50mm prime lens, images will be crisp from edge to edge. You can manually change the aperture from f/3.2 to f/22 utilizing the dial on the front of the lens. The optic also offers manual focus which, by using the close focus extension feature, can focus as close as 8" from your subject. In addition, the Edge 50 offers 46mm front threads for any filters you would like to use. Keep your lens smudge free with the included microfiber cloth and protected when stored in its hard storage case.

Better than a bread slicer!
The slice of focus is exactly the type of effect I was looking for in a tilt lens. I tried the Double Glass and it's not nearly as pronounced as the Edge 50. It's a super fun lens to use and forces you to slow down and master the tilt effect with manual focus. Highly recommended! Also, it's much more convenient to have a built in aperture instead of the magnetic disks. Works with all of Lensbaby's Composer tilt systems.
Highly recommended for creative photography
A great addition to the composer pro sweet 50 this lens is a pleasure to play with. It encourages you to be creative all the time. The tilt shift allows you to have the focus slice vertical, horizontal or diagonal according to the angle you tilt the lens. This is really easy to use and the manual focus and aperture controls are smooth. this lens has great build quality. I highly recommend it.
