The Deepcool Gammaxx 400 CPU Air Cooler comes with four heat pipes attached to a large heatsink and a 120mm blue LED fan to cool processors. The heat pipes have a direct contact to the surface of your processor to better draw heat away. The heat is cooled via a variable speed fan that spins between 900 and 1500 rpm. The fan provides an air flow of 74.34 CFM and is built with a hydro bearing. To improve cooling performance, the Gammaxx 400 includes fan clips to support an optional second fan. In addition, a processor mounting clip kit allows you to use the Gammaxx 400 with various Intel and AMD processors.

Multiple clips included to support Intel and AMD processors
Four sintered-powder heat pipes directly draw heat away from the processor
PWM fan function offers a balance between air flow and noise level
Semi-transparent design with blue LED
Easy installation without removing the motherboard
Includes fan clips to mount an optional second fan

Gammaxx 400 CPU Air Cooler is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Install on AM4 Installed this on an Asus Prime X370-PRO board with a Ryzen 7 chip. Works out of the box with the latch mechanism which was super easy to put on - although it requires a bit of force to latch it, just make sure the board is on something sturdy and does not flex and you will be fine. Cooler works like a charm - CPU temps were in the 39-40C range with mild activity which is excellent. Comes with a variety of brackets and thermal paste as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic little cooler Used with my Ryzen 7 1700X and a Asus Prime X370-Pro AM4 motherboard. The instructions are rather spartan but you don't need a lot as it's a pretty simple installation. The cooler comes with a variety of clips for various configurations. For the AM4 you just need the latch type one which is in the box. Also included is a small sachet of thermal paste. Note - before installation make sure the board is on a surface that does not cause it to flex when applying pressure as you will need to apply a tad bit of pressure to latch it up. Also make sure you mount the fan such that it is in sync with the intake and exhaust ports of your case so airflow is not impeded. The fans mount on either side of the heatsink. My CPU runs pretty cool even with max load. I store my case horizontally because heat rises and cools better through the heatsink and also gravity assists the contact better, just my personal preference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent CPU Cooler for socket 2011 motherboard I bought this cpu cooler as a replacement for my Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO when one of the screws on the cross-bracket mounting mechanism broke during re-installation on my socket 2011 motherboard. I decided to get this cpu cooler based on reviews and the fact that the installation mount for a socket 2011 motherboard is a lot simpler than the 212 EVO and without the risk of breaking a screw. The fan lights up using blue LED and for the most part pretty quiet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little cooler This is a great cooler for the price. Keeping my i7 6700K plenty cool clocked at 4400 mhz even when rendering video with the CPU pushing all 4 cores up to 100%

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fastener issues with Intel build I bought one of these for an Intel Core-i7 build. (This review applies ONLY to Intel builds because the fastening system included with this cooler for AMD builds is different.) The Intel attachment kit comes with comes with plastic connectors that I just could not get to stay in place. My attempts to do so reminded me of playing Whack-A-Mole. I would think I had one or more of them in place, but they would pop back out when I tried to secure the remaining ones. Since it is critical that a cooler stay properly in place when installed, I lost faith in the ability of this cooler to do its job. I did not want to risk that the 10 fasteners might fail and cause the loss of a $300 processor. I returned this cooler and bought another brand with a different fastener system. When my partner saw the replacement cooler installed, he agreed that the fastening system on the replacement was a better solution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cooler all around Got this to replace the stock cooler on a Ryzen 5 1600. Temps under load have dropped by about ten degrees and I have to admit that I'm impressed by this little cooler. Easy to install too, but do remember to loosen the plastic brackets on the motherboard before trying to latch this on. That way very little force is needed. Very happy with the Deepcool Gammaxx 400.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's quite. It's quite, but a little too big for the case.
