The Angler Shadow Focus Spot 2 Light Kit was put together by B&H to give photographers and videographers a highly portable kit for interviews, ENG, products, or portraits. The kit contains 2 Shadow Focus Spot 300W lights, each with barndoors, a light stand, 16 x 22 Angler softbox, and a speed ring.
Shadow Focus Spot 300 Light
The Shadow Focus Spot 300 Focusing Flood Light is a 300W focusable fixture with a wide 21-40° beam angle that's variable with a simple knob. The safety-glass-protected, separately purchased lamp has a color temperature of approximately 3100K with an average lamp life of 100 hours. Four-way barndoors are included to put the light where you want it and keep it off of areas that you don't. Convenience features include a cool-touch handle for safe tilting adjustments and a 12.5' power cable with an in-line switch and a grounded 3-prong US/North American plug.
Silverbox Quartz Softbox
The 16 x 22" Silverbox Quartz Softbox is a highly versatile light-shaping tool designed for use with strobes, LEDs, fluorescent lights, and hot lights up to 300W. This small softbox allows photographers to place it where larger softboxes can't go. It's ideal for tabletop and small product work especially with reflective objects that demand a rectilinear reflection. This size and weight softbox is also a good choice for overhead mounting on a boom for use as a hair light or background light.
The Silverbox has a textured silver interior for maximum output and heat resistance. It also has an additional control; it accepts an optional fabric grid which mounts to the recessed lip of the softbox with touch-fasteners. The grid gives more directional control of the light source by narrowing the beam, so the light goes only where you want it to. While designed to be paired with the Angler Shadow Focus Spot, the Silverbox will fit other brands with separate purchase of a speed ring. Every Silverbox comes with a carrying case.
Light Stand
The aluminum 8' Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a 4-section light support with sure-twist section locks. If you forget to tighten any section with your light mounted, the light slowly descends, thanks to the air-cushioned action. This useful feature saves equipment and fingers from harm during busy photo sessions.
