The Angler 5x7' Collapsible Background Kit was put together by B&H to give photographers the option of shooting against a simple background or creating their own via chromakey. The kit includes a 5x7' black/white and a 5x7' chroma blue/green reversible collapsible backgrounds. A 13' Multiboom Light Stand with clips to hold the backgrounds is also provided.

All the photos the backdrop is hanging vertically, does it let you hang it horizontal?

Yes. The stand is height adjustable. I use mine more horizontal than vertical. I do recommend sandbags for the stand though. Tips too easily.

How do I set up with the stand? I got the backdrop open but I'm not sure how to attach it to the stand.

setup stand and boom arm to desired position set and slide the two pinch-clamps into position for either a horizontal or vertical backdrop installation set and forget. Would suggest a sandbag if being used outdoors.
