The Iron Works Tour MS456LBK from Tama is a tripod low-profile telescoping boom stand. It has a 19 to 33" telescoping boom arm and is the perfect solution for miking bass drums, amplifiers, and more.

The boom stand features a Sure-Cast adjustment collar, a Latch-Lok sleeve insert, and a die-cast locking thumb nut, and the base is 23.8" in diameter. The stand's height is adjustable from 17.3 to 23.8" and is suitable for virtually any miking situation where lower height is required. It folds down to about 25" for easy transport.

I’ve become a big fan of the Tama stands since picking up a few of their shorties for drum use. The biggest pro for me is that the final (smallest) boom adjustment is very solid and the knobs feel secure. This is a failure point I’ve encountered with the “industry standard” brand. Tama has made a convert out of me
