Can the 981k output 4k through HDMI when it is NOT in record mode? Wanting to know if it's still possible to record 4k to a Ninja 5 without recording to the internal SD. Or, does 4k mode prevent any HDMI signal from displaying? Thank you!
Asked by: William
Hello William! The external recording will be 1080p. Only the internal recording can be 4K.

Could you use a GoPro with this?

Could you use a GoPro with this?
Asked by: Tina
Other than they are both video cameras, this and a GoPro have not a whole lot in common. If you asking about the ability to do a two-camera shoot, it would be very difficult to get the exposures and colors to match. Exposures can be easily adjusted in most editing programs but adjusting colors can be very difficult. I have a number of video cameras and while this one is not the most expensive, it is certainly a favorite. I can start shooting by simply opening up the screen and pressing a button, and the quality is usually excellent. The one drawback is that the screen can be difficult to see on sunny days, especially when the sun is at your back. I believe they make this same camera with an viewfinder that you can put up to your eye, which solves the sun problem. I love this camera.
