Perfect to Store and Review Old Print Images

I am in process of converting all my old prints, filmstrips and slides into digital images to sort and manage. I am in my 80's and realize unless I do something soon all my thousands of images will for all practical purposes lost and tossed when I pass. One of the goals is to send DVD's of the images to those that are in them and/or may be interested. The 4" X 6" print storage is to make the prints easy to review and scan if no filmstrip image has been made. Also to dispose of duplicate prints. Of course the prints, filmstrips and slides will be in a binder for those who prefer the old fashion tech. For those that can use more current tech all the images will be in digital archive (in my case ON1 Photo Raw 2026-7) searchable by keyword.

The pockets are the perfect size for 4x6 photos; they slide in and out without too much struggling.

I contacted the manufacturer concerning your inquiry. According to Print File, yes, the Print File Premium Series-G Archival Storage Page for Prints - 4x6" - Holds 8 Prints - 25 Pack is both acid free and lignin free. However, they state that in reality, all plastic is acid free and lignin free. Lignin is a substance in wood pulp that breaks down into acids. As such, acid- and lignin free is appropriately asked about paper products, not plastic products.

What size binder are people using to store these pages in? The Bestfile box it suggested is too small. Thanks!

How many sheets?
I don't know. my guess would be 200 pictures, as each sheet will hold eight front and back. I use the three per page, which holds 150 4X6 pictures front and back.
