FUJIFILM 16456574 Overview

Composed of barium ferrite, the 6TB LTO Ultrium-7 Data Cartridge from FUJIFILM supports native transfer rates of up to 300 MB/s and compressed transfer rates of up to 750 MB/s for fast efficient data transmission. In addition to enhanced data rates, this LTO Ultrium 7 tape supports a native capacity of 6TB and compressed capacity of 15TB allowing users to store a large amount of data.

This tape uses barium ferrite (BaFe) technology, and is compatible with the open linear tape file system (LTFS). It also utilizes NANOCUBIC technology for finer particle size and more uniform particle dispersion. The reel design helps enhance stability and decrease pressure that may lead to damage.

Tapes work as expected. Backing up much of our data stored on HDD to these tapes.

will these work with the IBM LTO Drive 3580?

The FUJIFILM LTO Ultrium 7 6TB Data Cartridge will not be compatible with the IBM 3580, as that drive accepts LTO 3 cartridges.
