The Ruggard padded equipment wrap is good to keep in your bag when traveling. I use it as extra padding to absorb shock in my back pack. Later on during your trip when you have fragile purchases like porcelain cups or small framed art, you can wrap it up and not worry about it. Not only is the wrap good quality it is cheap in price. Along with the great B&H service, I highly recommend it.

The product is fine. The problem is how this pouch is listed as an add-on item for a fairly large lens (a used Canon 70-300mm L). I placed my order and discovered the mismatch. As it turns out, the velcro sheet is about half the size it would need to be. I like the velcro concept, and if I have something flat (about 5 x 5 inches) that needs protecting, this would do the job. Overall, every lens case for sale should display its actual real-world lens capacity -- not just interior dimensions, but also a lengthy list of examples tested with actual lenses.

Great multi-use protection! If you get them dirty (leaves, etc. stick to them), you can wash and air dry them easily. It is great if you're packing a bunch of stuff that you normally might not have to consolidate, for example traveling with a reduced size camera kit.

The Ruggard 11 x 11 padded equipment wrap is a great way to protect your gear when using a gray man stealth bag or any unpadded bag to carry your photo gear. I protect my Sony RX100M7 with this wrap when I use a Tom Bihn Side Hustle, or Packing Cube Shoulder Bag as my camera bag. It fits the camera perfectly and does a super job of protecting it from bumps, jostles, and rough and tumble. Would I buy this wrap again? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes. This is a thoughtfully-designed, high quality product - 5 Stars!

Ruggard 11 x 11" Padded Equipment Wrap (Black) will probably work on the Canon F1. I would recommend using a cloth napkin that you have at home and wrapping the camera with that. Checking which size worked well that allowed the napkin to go all around the camera and would allow the velcro at the ends to overlap over the wrap, keep the wrap tight and then checking which size worked and buy a wrap that offers that similar size.
