Hawke Sports Optics' green 8x32 Endurance Binoculars feature phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, extra-low-dispersion (ED) glass, and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics to produce a versatile and capable optic that produces bright and clear high-contrast images with true color rendition and virtually no color-fringing. These optical features help to offset the relatively small 32mm objectives and help to boost their low-light performance. With less noticeable handshake versus more powerful binoculars, this combination of optics and objectives make the Endurance binoculars ideally suited for most outdoor activities from hunting, to birding, to sporting events

Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binoculars durable and comfortable to use. The chassis is made from a polycarbonate that is impact and corrosion-resistant. They ar also temperature-resistant, so the optical tubes won't expand and contract with temperature fluctuation, which over time can cause the optics to move out of collimation; preventing the binoculars from being able to achieve a sharp focus. The optical tubes are wrapped with rubber armoring which not only protects them from drops and impacts, they also gives the binoculars a slip-resistant grip - especially in cold and wet weather. Their optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof - especially in extreme weather conditions. A right-eye diopter adjustment allows the binoculars to be customized to most people's needs, and twist-up eyecups mean that they can be comfortably used with or without eye wear.

  • 388' field of view at 1000 yards

Very good. They would be better if they had a slightly wider angle view, but will do as is.

When I received these binoculars, I was amazed at how compact and light they were. I was even more amazed by their optical quality, even under poor lighting. They are very sharp across the whole field of view, image contrast and colour are excellent, no visible chromatic aberration and ergonomically are a joy to use . The included semi hard case and strap are also good quality. I was considering buying the 8x42 version which gets excellent reviews but decided on the more compact 8x32 version after reading the following reviews https://www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/Hawke8x32EnduranceED-161.htm https://www.irelandswildlife.com/hawke-endurance-ed-8x32-binocular-review/ The B&H web site incorrectly lists these as having a Lightweight Polycarbonate Chassis but Customer Service confirmed with Hawke Optics that they are in fact a Magnesium Alloy Chassis. Order processing by B&H and shipping time to Australia was excellent. Highly Recommended

Brilliant binoculars for $150!

I wanted clarity for all distances, ease of use, close up focus (within 4 ft - I can focus on and magnify the ground at my feet while standing!) as well as far distances, not to heavy, easy and quick to sweep gaze and change focus at where I'm looking, solid feel, end lens covers that don't fall off, able to use with/without eye glasses, nice grip in B hands, no fall out at the edges of vision. This has it. Hard case great, light. Well designed binoculars. I'm no expert. I did not want to spend over $150. I scoured reviews and best of this year and that - much information, but I wrote down what they said I should try and get. The 8x magnification is perfect with the lighter weight than 10x. I am a slight woman in 60's, the regular neck strap seems fine. I have no idea what the ED does compared to others but the light, focus and clarity is great in these. I am an artist and visual clarity means a lot to me. B & H were excellent, replied to email question within a day, shipped by express which was 'free.' No complaints.

Very nice binoculars at a exceptionally low price.

I am very happy with my Hawke binoculars 8x32). I've only had them a few weeks, but the few times I have used them I was impressed with the quality of the optics. The image is bright and sharp even when the subject is in the shadows. They are very well built but light weight. I would highly recommend these to anyone ready to upgrade to better binoculars on a limited budget. You can get better but you'll pay almost double what you can get these for. B&H had the best price and delivery was prompt (and free). I will return to B&H for my future photo or optical needs. Thank you.

Awesome clarity. Lightweight. Eyeglass wearers view pretty darn good. Naked eye very awesome.

Good view for the money

Two complaints: focusing knob seems to have some backlash to it that can make fine focusing harder than it should be. Also, eyecups seem to push downward too easily. Still a good buy though because they provide a nice sharp view that I think would beat most bins in this price range.
