ESP LTD B-1004SE Multi-Scale Electric Bass (Left-Handed, Natural Satin)

ESP's LTD B-1005SE is a left-handed electric bass featuring a solid swamp ash body, a rosewood top, a double-cutaway design, and a natural satin finish. Its bolt-on, five-piece wenge/bubinga neck is fashioned in the multi-scale design which utilizes individual fret angling in order to maximize tone and intonation. This multi-scale neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets. A set of Gotoh tuners secures the strings to the headstock, while a Hipshot Solo bridge anchors the strings to the body.

For electronics, this bass is outfitted with a pair of active Nordstrand Big Split pickups, which pack classic single-coil into a soapbar housing, delivering a hyped j-bass tone in the process. A 3-band EQ section augments the volume and balance knobs with the ability to cut and boost frequencies in equal measure. Two mini switches control parameters of the EQ. One switch toggles the EQ on and off, the other toggles the mid frequency of the EQ between 400 and 800 Hz.
