    Smith-Victor ULM45 reviews

ULM45 Umbrella and Light Mount (120 VAC) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from This solves a big problem. I purchased these to replace the clamp on lights that will not stay where you place them. This is a great item! They are absolutely what the doctor ordered for small slave strobes and the 40watt reflector lights. Should have found then a long time ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very versatile This product allows the direction and slope of the flash or continuous unit to be adjusted very easily. For the price, it is excellent. Well made and versatile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Find for Learning to Use Flashes My son works as a video production assistant and I have been thinking a lot about posing subjects, after years doing mostly landscape and travel photography. He bought a set of lights, umbrellas and stands at a pawn shop. One of these mounts and flash sets was among the stuff and I found it fascinating. They give me an inexpensive and effective tool for practicing lighting techniques that have frustrated me for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product I purchased 4 of these and love them. For the money, they're a fantastic deal and they feel like they'll stand up to a reasonable amount of use. I've got 50 watt quartz halogen PAR bulbs in them and the bulb holder (plastic) gets warm enough that I wouldn't think about using a bulb as high as 500 watts which they say they're rated for... but that's just my opinion. Anyway, I'm very happy with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect fit I use the umbrella light mount with my Smith-Victor Flash Lite set in my home studio. The swivel angle makes it perfect to direct light on the subject. It's lightweight and easy to store when not in use and is the perfect fit for my small in home studio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I am new to photography (three years). When I purchase equipment, I want to pay a fair price and get a product that will last and be able to be around clients. This part is reasonably priced and professional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple accesory, but great and helpful! This little thing can be very useful for mounting a backlight or fill light in any room or exterior... a little catchlight maybe. I can use the same tripods I use with my Speedlites. I hope they last.
