The base is a durable tray constructed from an aluminum alloy, which has been anodized for resistance to corrosion. The left grip handle with extension fits onto the side of the base and allows you to connect an optional lighting arm for a strobe or video light. An optional second extension and handle can be added onto the right side to enable the use of another strobe or light. Ikelite's quick-release handles are made of aluminum and ABS, and feature soft, molded rubber grips with a curved design for comfort and security.
