The flagship KT-4 from KAT is an advanced, high-performance 5-piece electronic drum kit carefully crafted and engineered by professional drummers. The kit offers an 8" Bass Pad fitted with a Mylar drum-head which offers realistic performance for single- and double-bass drum players. The 12" hi-hat cymbal features three zones, plus a real-time actuating sensor which offers an incredible amount of control. Included with the kit is the DW3500 hi-hat stand from Drum Workshop.
The module features over 780 sounds, with 99 kits (55 factory, 44 user programmable) that offer a wide range of musical styles including rock, reggae, jazz, and electronic. Additionally, the module includes 142 tracks you can play along with, while the metronome offers several time signatures to help you lock in a groove. The 5-pin DIN MIDI in/out connectors allow you to connect to outboard modules and MIDI interfaces, while the USB connection conveniently provides MIDI-In/Out to any connected computer.
