The LED-36X from Vidpro is a highly compact on-camera LED light featuring 5600K daylight color temperature and 40W equivalent light beam. It can be mounted directly on your camera, or to the side of the camera using the included side-mount bracket. The light operates on three AAA batteries (not included) for up to two hours of total run-time. A diffuser is built in that will soften and even out the light output and eliminate bright spots.

works well for close-ups
Almost too bright when close to your subject (people end up squinting). The switch sometimes doesnt make a solid connection so have to flip it on/off several times to turn on. The handle does not allow the camera to be held with the camera strap if the light is on the right side of the camera. And you cant open the camera viewscreen if the light is on the left. I had to reverse the camera mounting screw so the light shoe hangs underneath the camera.
