The CAD WX3010 is a versatile rackmount wireless bodypack microphone system that includes a lavalier mic, a earset mic, and a guitar/instrument cable for a wide variety of applications. Easy to use, it offers reliable transmission and high-quality audio to presenters, performers, clergy, instructors, and musicians working in business and educational settings, houses of worship, broadcast studios, or on musical stages.
The WX3010 features an all-metal, half-rack receiver that can be rackmounted in portable flight cases or for permanent installations with the included hardware. Quick to set up at the press of a button, the receiver scans a 20 MHz UHF tuning range with 80 selectable frequencies to locate a clean RF channel that's free from interference. Just use the Link button to sync the receiver with the transmitter via IR, and you're ready to go.
The bodypack transmitter is equipped with a TA4M input connector and a multifunction On-Off/Mute switch. It also features proprietary CADTone circuitry, which delivers accurate reproduction of Hi-Z guitar and Lo-Z mic inputs to preserve the tone of your mic or instrument.
The transmitter provides up to 15 hours of operation on two AA batteries. It also offers a selectable 10/30/50mW RF power output for overcoming interference in difficult RF environments or to accommodate setups with multiple transmitters operating in proximity.
The system utilizes true-diversity reception to minimize dropouts and deliver clear audio at a range up to 300'. For setups requiring multiple wireless microphones, up to 15 systems can operate simultaneously in each frequency band.
- The E29 lavalier microphone delivers a natural, broadcast-quality sound optimized for speech intelligibility. Its omnidirectional polar pattern ensures that the sound remains consistent, even when the speaker's head moves away from the mic. The miniature design allows for easy, inconspicuous placement.
- The E19 earset is discreet, stable, and easy to place over either ear. It provides improved clarity and additional protection against feedback when compared to a lavalier mic.
- Available separately is the TX3000 handheld transmitter for presenters and performers who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.
- The heavy-duty WXGTR cable connects your guitar, bass, or other instrument to the bodypack transmitter. The cable is terminated with a 1/4" connector on one end and a TA4F connector on the other.
- The durable half-rack receiver chassis can be mounted alone in a standard 19" rack using the included mounting brackets and screws.
- For optimal reception, the two detachable antennas can be positioned at the front of the rack using the included antenna relocation kit.
- The receiver's rear-panel connections include a balanced XLR and an unbalanced 1/4" output connector to connect to any mixing board, PA system, or guitar amp.
- High-contrast LCD displays on the transmitter and receiver show operating frequency, audio gain, mute status, battery life, and more.
- The transmitter features a variable audio gain to accommodate varying mic and guitar levels.
- The receiver features a variable output volume to prevent overloading the sound system.
- In situations when the receiver loses the transmitter’s signal, Automatic Tone Encoded Squelch technology mutes the audio output to prevent unwanted noise from being heard in the sound system.
- The DA4090 antenna distribution amplifier (available separately) lets you stretch the power of your antenna pair, allowing you to distribute the antenna signal to up to four receivers. The DA4090 also distributes power to all four receivers from a single power supply.
- Adding a pair of ANT120 paddle antennas increases the range of your system and offers improved protection against interference.
